Kindle may be coming to the iPhone.

Amazon has already said that they will make Kindle e-books available for mobile phones, so making them available on the iPhone makes sense.

This would certainly be an interesting, and smart, expansion of the “Kindle” concept, because it would establish Amazon’s e-book store as the best store.

A Kindle e-books app on the iPhone would be the first real e-book reader I’d consider. No others have been convincing, but having Amazon’s library in my pocket along with my music, movies, and the Internet would be incredibly compelling.
