Brent Simmons has a new app out, and it’s called Glassboard. Here’s how he describes it:
Glassboard is kind of like social networking, in that you share messages, comments, pictures, videos, and locations. The difference is that it’s completely private: what you share doesn’t end up appearing in Google searches.
You create a group (“boards,” the app calls them) and invite people. Only the people on a board can see what’s posted there. It’s like Vegas that way.
Sounds like it’d be a great way to share photos and news with family and friends while on trips. It’s free on the App Store and is also available for Android and Windows Phone 7.
