Flexibits just released Fantastical, a new calendar application for your Mac that works with iCal, Entourage and Outlook. It looks great.

Fantastical sits in your menu bar, and you can add new events with a keyboard shortcut. The best part is, though, it uses natural language processing, so you can add events just by typing in “Dinner with Jessica on Wednesday at 12.” The keyboard shortcut and being able to just type the event are a big deal, because adding events to iCal is, to be charitable, a pain in the ass.
