Ian Hines Wants to Directly Support Writers

February 10th, 2011

Ian Hines:

I agree with Ben, which is part of the reason why I have not subscribed to Readability yet. I think Readability is an amazing example of innovation but, frankly, I would rather just support the writers I love directly.

Writers—please consider giving me the opportunity to do so.

Agreed—I’d love to support certain writers directly, no matter what article they happen to write each month. I think doing it through some kind of common platform, like Readability, is the best way to do it, though; once you’re set up on the platform as a user, this makes supporting a new writer you really like a no-brainer. There’s no credit card information to enter, or anything like that. You just support them.

That said, if you’d like to support TightWind, you can by either making a direct donation, or purchasing a book from my recommended books list.
