Pizza Update

By the way, if any of you were curious how our little pizza experiment went over the weekend, here’s a photo Heidi took.

It went really well. We used dough and mozzeralla from Trader Joes (making our own dough is the next step), Italian sausage from a local Italian market, and sun-dried tomatoes.

The only thing we’re going to do differently next time is try to heat up the pizza stone some more with the broiler. It didn’t cook as quickly as it should, and the top of the crust didn’t brown.
