37Signals launches Haystack, a new way to find a web designer around you.

Great idea. Web designers upload a screenshot of their best work, a small description, and their usual budget range, and then clients browse through little cards of them for their location.

It’s very well laid out, and the paying option is great: it’s free to upload one screenshot, but for $99/month, designers can upload 6 images, their logo appears on the listing card, and their cards show up above the free ones.
