Hulu Desktop
May 28th, 2009Hulu Desktop is a Boxee-like interface for browsing and watching Hulu on your computer. It works with the Apple Remote.
Looks nice, and is certainly better than using the web site, but this still isn’t what I’m looking for. To watch it on a TV, it still requires hooking up your computer to the TV, and launching the application — not something I want to do.
Hulu needs to be available as one option on other, dedicated TV devices, such as the Xbox 360 or AppleTV, so switching between Hulu and other services (like Netflix) is easy.
This is certainly a step forward, but not what it needs to be.
