Ski Lodge

December 12th, 2008

I lived in Colorado for three years as a child, which goes a long way toward explaining my Denver Broncos obsession. But I also picked up a love for skiing, which I still have even here in Southern California.

I have been looking for a great ski resort tracking application, and David Watanabe’s Ski Lodge looks like it is exactly what I have been looking for. It is aesthetically-pleasing, but the UI is simple and to the point — you have a favorites list, a proximity-based list (which uses the iPhone’s location service), and an all resorts list.

It shows each resort’s most important information — recent snow depth and current temperature — and that’s it. Looks great.
